Southland’s satyrs of satire are at it again with “Quiet Riot In The Library” a deliciously demented ode to all things books and learning. This Libro-Celtic-Nu-Zoo-Metal tune (delivered at respectful volumes) finds Termagant’s Goon Bag and Hooch proclaiming their love for libraries in primal, raunchy, and slightly musky whispers, with guest librarian Karen Shandy bringing her peppy vocal enthusiasms into the party.
Just like librarians worldwide, this tune is totally epic, nerdishly cute, and adorkably informative. Check out “Quiet Riot In The Library“ on the links below.
The music video for “Quiet Riot In The Library” was filmed on location in the hallowed halls of the Metropolitan Library of Gropers Bush, Southland and cost a whopping $5 to make. The band is eternally grateful for the good natured assistance of Murray and Isabel Brown, the generous and gracious caretakers and custodians of the Aotearoa’s most adorable tiny library. Seriously folks this place is a book lover’s dream.
